Corporate culture is a term which describes an organization's value systems, standards, rules, assumptions and beliefs. It conveys meaning, brings about consensus, provides orientation – and helps people to understand how the organization functions. Corporate culture is a very significant aspect of preparations for mergers or take-overs. A detailed culture analysis, such as the one that zeb/ provides, can be used to derive specific measures that significantly increase the likelihood of success in change processes.
As the "partner for change", zeb/ helps you to efficiently drive change processes forward. This is facilitated to a great extent by the zeb/ culture analysis. It identifies any potential obstacles to change implementation and can be taken as the basis for the definition of specific measures. Our analysis covers all culture-relevant aspects of management, sales, communication, services, conflicts, investments, cooperations, teams and changes.
The process:
- At the outset of the project, we implement standard interviews with staff at all hierarchical levels. Interviews are also conducted with management employees.
- Then we initiate an anonymous computer-aided survey of all employees, followed by cross-hierarchy workshops.
- Afterwards, we analyze all documents relating to the nine groups of questions (performance measurements, corporate communication, management etc.)
- We use the zeb/culture barometer as a regular analysis tool which enables us to track the progress of the initiated measures. This provides you with feedback on measures which are particularly successful and measures which require modifications.
