Banks are increasingly compelled to regularly review their pricing policy and terms as a result of mounting competition. Many banks, however, are not aware of the contributions to earnings that individual products make, which means they have no solid decision basis on which to restructure their prices and terms. zeb/ develops customized concepts to optimize product costing which support sales staff in their negotiations on terms and conditions.
To ascertain fair market prices and terms:
- we analyze the product costing and competence system currently in use throughout the bank as a whole and in its individual divisions,
- develop a target product costing system,
- define the procedures to be adopted and the technical support for costing,
- calculate the lower price limits for predefined products
- and revise the competence system on this basis.
