Savings banks

Germany's public savings banks are the biggest banking group in the world measured in terms of their total assets. As a result of the abolition of maintenance liability and guarantor liability, among other things, the Sparkasse Group is currently in the process of developing new, forward-looking structures and redistributing tasks within the group.
