Management
It is our mission to build up our clients\' performance and competitive strength. This objective also shapes our philosophy on the management of our company and the interpersonal relationships of the people who work there. We foster a work environment that is characterized by transparency and team spirit because we believe this is essential if our staff are to operate successfully. At zeb/, we have flat hierarchies and an open and informal working culture that inspires trust. We encourage performance and goal-oriented mindsets that leave scope for individual developments and a sense of responsibility as the basis for sound and prudent decisions. Every single one of us is guided by these principles of management and cooperation.
Careers
Every stage of a career at zeb/ is associated with specific requirements and performance expectations. We implement various measures to support our employees in meeting these requirements, including a range of training measures and mentoring. Individual feedback is another important aspect. Experienced zeb/ consultants hold regular performance assessment interviews with you so that you know precisely where you stand. We also discuss future career development options with you so that you know where you are going. The career of a consultant who joins zeb/ as a graduate could look something like this: after two to three years, he will have partial and later on entire project management responsibility. If he is successful in this function, after another two to three years he will be promoted to the position of Senior Manager with responsibility for a specific market or field. If his performance in this position is excellent, he will be offered the opportunity to become a zeb/ partner. Your career at zeb/ depends on your personal development potential and your individual performance.
Mentoring
Mentoring was introduced to help graduates (f/m) get accustomed to the world of consulting at zeb/. An experienced zeb/ consultant (f/m) is assigned to every new member of staff as a mentor who is there to provide advice and support for at least six months. The mentor helps the new employee to familiarize himself with our corporate culture and corporate objectives, to develop his skills and to get off to a positive start in his career. The mentor is both a role model and sparring partner. The new employee profits from his knowledge and experience, and can pass it on to other new employees at a later date.
Training
zeb/ offers a diverse range of training programs and measures to employees. zeb/ offers in-house and external training and education measures that give employees the opportunity to extend their professional knowledge, improve methodical competence or develop specific personality factors. On-the-job training is a very important element of individual training concepts, so the employees are involved in projects, work at the Competence Units and are assigned to special tasks that enable them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Everyone at zeb/ has the opportunity of individual step-by-step development and continuous skill improvement at zeb/.
zeb/ joins training alliance in Austria
To support the team members of zeb/austria in their further education and training, zeb/ joined a qualification alliance together with two other companies. This alliance receives support from the Vienna Employee Promotion Fund (WAFF). From January 2008 to June 2009, a high number of selected training courses will be offered at zeb/’s Vienna office.
The members of the alliance aim at raising staff qualifications by tailored education and training, exploiting synergies with a view to offering appropriate qualification possibilities and sharing training costs among the partners. In addition, the alliance is to secure jobs and open up new employment opportunities.
